What is Jeton, and why does a casino cashier put it beside Interac and Visa? It is a wallet: you keep a balance in an account at Jeton, move money in from a bank or card, and spend it at merchants that accept it. This page reads Jeton's own site and blog, dated 22 October 2026, and then sets that against what casino cashiers print. For the casinos themselves, go to the Jeton casinos Canada list.

What is Jeton and who runs it
On jeton.com the footer names Jeton Bank Limited, licensed by the Financial Services Unit, Ministry of Finance of the Commonwealth of Dominica, as a banking institution under the International Banking Act. The registration number is 2022/C0175, the registered address is in Roseau, and the company gives a SWIFT code, JETODMD2. The same footer sits on every page we read.

The name has a history. Jeton's blog still calls the product "Jeton Wallet" and says it has run since 2017, and some posts describe the company as authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. That wording disagrees with the Dominica footer, and a blog is less formal than a licence line, so this site follows the footer.
| What we read | What jeton.com says | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | Jeton Bank Limited, Dominica, 2022/C0175 | Footer |
| Users | "1M+" registered users | Home and About pages |
| Countries | more than 25 on the home page, 27 on About | Home and About pages |
| Payment methods | 50 or more | Home and About pages |
| App | one account with Add, Send and Exchange tabs | Home page |
How the Jeton app works
What is Jeton in practice? Jeton describes one account for all payments, with three tabs. Add puts money in, Send moves it to another person, and Exchange converts between currencies. The blog adds that there are apps on Google Play and the App Store and that a Jeton Card on the Mastercard network connects the balance to everyday spending.
Opening an account takes about three minutes according to the site, which also promises no paperwork. Each sign-in needs device verification and a six-digit PIN. Before the site opens, Jeton shows a regulatory notice: its services can be restricted depending on your country of residence, and you confirm you came on your own initiative and answer for local rules. We did not open an account. Everything here comes from public pages.

The picture is the route a casino player follows: fund the wallet, pick it in the cashier, deposit, and later withdraw back to the wallet. The deposit with Jeton page takes the first two steps one by one.
What is Jeton in Canada
Canada is one of the countries in the selector on Jeton's fee page. Its entries show Canadian dollars:
| Jeton line (Canada) | Speed | Sender fee | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer | instant | none | CA$20 to CA$1,400 |
| Card top-up | instant | 2.5% | CA$5 to CA$1,000 |
That is all Jeton prints for Canada. It does not say which line is a deposit and which a withdrawal, it does not show a Canadian withdrawal list, and we did not find a sentence saying that Jeton serves Canadian residents. An older blog article about receiving money in Canada says the first five incoming transfers each month carry no fee and the sixth and later 2.5% for the receiver. Treat that as background, because the fee page is newer. The fees and limits page lays Jeton's layer next to the casino's.

How fast Jeton moves money, by its own account
Jeton's blog says that in most cases deposits and withdrawals are processed instantly and that some local bank transfers take up to 30 minutes. The article goes on to say that the time depends on the method, the country and the receiving bank, and that a withdrawal can take longer if extra verification is needed. Its list is the European one, so use it as a guide and not as a Canadian timetable:
| Jeton method (Europe list) | Time |
|---|---|
| Local bank transfer | 0 to 30 minutes |
| Bank transfer | instant |
| Card top-up | instant |
| PayPal | instant |
| Jeton Cash | not specified |
The Canadian fee page shows both of its lines as instant, but a casino adds its own processing time on top, as the withdraw to Jeton page shows.
The Jeton Card
The Jeton Card is the part of the product that has nothing to do with casinos. Jeton's blog presents it as a Mastercard linked to the wallet balance for purchases and cash withdrawals, and the fee document lists a virtual card at 0.99 USD or EUR and a physical card at 39.99 USD or EUR, with monthly maintenance waived. That document is issued by Financial House Limited and its region selector names the United Kingdom, Europe and Japan, not Canada. For a casino player, the card is optional. The cashier only needs the wallet.
Names the cashier uses for the wallet
What is Jeton called at the cashier? The same wallet appears under several names. Reading the line you pick matters, because the name tells you which direction the casino supports.
| Name in the cashier | Seen at |
|---|---|
| Jeton | CasinoFriday, 1Red Casino, Mond Casino, Art Casino, Rocketplay, Casino Rocket |
| Jeton wallet | BetNFlix |
| jetonBank and JetonCash | Bonanza Game |
| Jeton in a general methods list | Slotspice, SpinSkull |
| Jeton logo only | Run4Win |
Several cashiers add "E-Wallet" as the type. Five casinos name Jeton in a withdrawal table, and the withdraw to Jeton page shows which and how to read the line.
What Jeton does not tell you
The pages we read leave open four things, and we do not fill them with guesses:
- the full identity-check rules and limits for a new account;
- any rule for inactive accounts;
- the withdrawal list for Canada;
- the rate and margin of the Exchange tab.
For questions about your own account, Jeton's support page offers email, a Help Centre and a Complaints Handling Policy. The Help Centre did not open for us because of a bot check, so we cannot describe it.
Open the cashier and read the minimum deposit for Jeton before you pay in.

Why do casinos call it jetonBank or JetonCash?
Cashiers label the same wallet differently: Jeton, Jeton wallet, jetonBank, JetonCash or simply E-Wallet. Bonanza Game lists jetonBank and JetonCash as separate deposit lines, so always read the name in the line you pick.
